Sound installation
Rocha da Relva, 22h30. In the darkness, on a cliff edge, a group of people sit in a circle. They are here to listen to the noisy nighttime return of the cagarros. A tactile deck of cards is passed around, each card represents an aspect of the cagarros’ life cycle and an aspect of deep listening. A story is woven together, connecting cagarros and people, sound and light, empathy and indifference and the challenges of living in a world that privileges vision.
